I identify 100% with Caitlin in this strip. As it happens, nerdy little kids who run around with sketchbooks all day, every day don't tend to be very popular, and are often picked on by the popular kids. Which made approaching said popular kids a very uncomfortable task. Granted, Sarah's really sweet, but she's with at least one other popular kid so this requires some hesitation on the part of the non-popular kids. It's all about that Middle School Food Chain, really.
