This was supposed to be a digital painting of our golden retriever, Sandy, who passed away around this time last year. She passed very suddenly, and it was very hard on all of us. This was supposed to be a Christmas present, but got finished late. Late as in Second Weekend of March Late. This is the first time I've done a full digital painting with no inks; I'll just straight up admit it didn't come out like I wanted it too, after months of fooling with it I realized I just don't have the skills to get it where I want it. But it's a good first effort at this sort of thing.
